Location of Cemetery: 1000 block FM 2244, Westlake.
Directions: Drive from MoPac west on Loop 360, turn around on FM 2244; drive south to 1000 block; right into large office building; drive to parking lot on NW; 375′ to cem.
Condition: Cemetery is in disarray and is unfenced, except for the one grave
History: Robert Eanes (1805 – 1895) South Carolina native Robert Eanes and his family came to Travis County from Mississippi in 1872. They joined his brother Alexander Eanes, who had arrived in 1845. Robert Eanes purchased a ranch from his brother in 1873, on which he built the first school, The area and school both assumed the Eanes name. Upon his death in 1895, Robert Eanes was buried next to his wife Eliza.
